What sleeves do you use?

A pre-new-years-eve resolution is: less plastic in my life. Before I bore you with the many meanings of this wish, lets focus on 45s. If one wants to start putting 45s in old-school greenish thick paper sleeves, are these Bags Unlimited sleeves the way to go? Even though people seem to bemoan them being to tight for certain 45s?

I'm also tempted by Manship's vintage version w/ added patina:

Both are quite costly for what they are, it seems. So what paper-sleeves do you guys use - if any others than the ones the 45 was purchased in?

I grab those green paper ones whenever I see them (which is fairly often). The record store I visit most often has new white paper sleeves (pretty sturdy, buy not nearly as thick as either of the ones you specified) for a dime each, so I usually pick up a few of those.

I match company sleeves whenever I can, and if it matches the record, I usually stick it in a poly bag. Exceptions are if the company sleeve is a common one - Liberty or Columbia, for example.

Those thick green ones go straight in the bin. You really like those? They give me the shivers. I see them as smelly, dirty, full of small cellulose fibers that stick to the surface of the 45s. I prefer thin white new sleeves that fit into sturdy cardboard outers. But the old brown paper sleeves are also quite nice as a back up. The "dry" thin ones. Preferably with a mylar outer sleeve. Though those are damn expensive, so I've had to opt for poly-variations. The PVC ones have been thrown away. What a HUGE mistake buying those.

I had been purchasing the gold sleeves (S7gold) from Bags U., but the last batch cut the top off by about 1/16 of an inch or so, and the side measurements are also 1/8 inch tighter. so, the hell with those from now on.
someone who collects 45s should design a sleeve where the centerhole is larger than the label circumference, and the reverse side of the sleeve is slightly higher/taller than the front, not even to the edge of the disc inside of it.

I've stored my records many different ways over the years. I have found Bags Unlimited white sleeves with Orivious Records heavy cardboard sleeves to work best for me.

Didnt one forum member do just that for private use? Not sure about the business potential, but if said person would produce a couple more I'd love to get a pile - especially for the larger lable holes, always annoying to have parts of the label covered by standard sleeves.
