what the...?

Well, at least he's willing to entertain a reasonable offer! ha, ha! If it can maintain this price for two or three auctions it will become a popsike and Collector's Frenzy phenomena. Then it's only a matter of time before the price of nothing DOUBLES!

I wonder if there have been any offers. Maybe someone will make one that 'can't be refused'? I was thinking I could buy this and then complain about non-delivery but I see he has it listed 'local pick-up only'... yet, how can you pick up what isn't there.

A bit of performance art, perhaps, intended as a commentary on rampant consumerism. It is pretty funny; be even funnier if someone were to go along with the gag and actually place a bid. But, the buyer obviously can't leave negative feedback for non-delivery.

I'm curious.... how did you happen to find this when browsing ebay? LOL

A friend emailed me about people listing nothing on ebay (this isn't the only one) so I did a search for nothing with 'best match' to see for myself and this one was the biggest nothing I saw. :) Now instead of getting something for nothing you can get nothing for something.

I remember a news story a few years ago about someone who listed a paperclip and bit by bit traded up to a house. I used to imagine putting up a 7-11 slurpee cup from the last supper signed by all 15 apostles (you could tell it's authenticity because Jesus included the middle initial H), but never had the guts.
