Why does usps.com have no 1st class option within U.S.?

Trying to print postage on the USPS site, why can't I choose 1st class to ship a 45 within the US? The site only offers Priority options. Not a problem for international. And of course I can take it to my post office and get 1st class and Media mail options.

It's been like that for years. Go into Ebay and go to a item you've already sent out to someone in the u.s. and click print another label, then just change the ship to info then click 1st class, then weight and volia you've just printed a shippimng label using ebay shipping. Make sure you don't have a check mark in front of Add message to buyer email...

You can do the same through Paypal.
Select a payment received where you didn't ship through them (I have plenty of receipts from non-US buyers I don't use Paypal for because they don't offer 1st class int'l).
Click on the shipping link, then edit the address to the one you want to use. You'll get a warning you don't get seller protection, but otherwise it goes through fine.
I've done it many times without a problem.

And similar to what Joey said about using eBay, for this, make sure you don't check the box to email the buyer.

I'm pretty sure paypal won't allow this aymore. Ebay does for sure.

Last year I had a problem with PayPal where there was some kind of time lag and PayPal was assigning tracking #s that USPS had already given out! USPS kept rejecting the labels, thankfully. I had to argue to get my money back on that shipping cost from PayPal. Their rep was like 'we'll do this as a courtesy' and I was like, 'no you'll do this because you were in the wrong!' So I won't use PayPal to ship ever again.

Thanks for this suggestion Joey, I tried it today and it was easy, plus of course cheaper than going to the post office and tracking included for free.
