WILDWOOD Plastic People CD on Frantic coming in late March

Looks like a week delay. The factory pressed up the discs and didn't wait for my approval on the proofs. I sent new artwork and they already pressed the discs. They admitted the mistake and have to repress 2000 discs...Quite the hit I'd say.

There innnnnnnnnnnn! I'll start sending out promos tomorrow. And then start getting them out to distributors on Monday. Turned out great! I'll try to throw one up on Ebay this weekend. That will be the 1st one sold. Now if I can just break even there will be more to come.;)

I like Plastic People, had never heard this before until now. Cool song. Will buy the cd fer sure!

Ooh, that's an old garage comp classic! CRATER FACED WOMAN STANDING ALONE

:D

I think the flip has been comp'd too, at least I have it within reach. I actually wondered whether this was a black or integrated band, due to the raw soulful sound. Haven't heard their other 45 yet, but this CD release looks interesting for sure.

WHITEYS...One and all!!!! Although the lead singer loves Ray Charles.

Got my copy yesterday. It's everything we've come to expect in a Frantic release: Stacked booklet, cool photos, excellent liner notes and fantastic sound quality (I had to turn down the volume on my CD player, which I rarely have to do with archival releases). I consider it more heavy rock than psych. I'm only half way through, but I'm digging the commercial vibe of 'Mary Midnight' and the country blues (in my opinion) of 'Wildwood County'. Top notch all the way.

Here's hoping for many more Frantic releases.

Funny. Had to wait for PayPal to get the money so I could pay for the album, and now it's gone. Does anyone know when they will re-stock the album? Vultures.
