Wish me luck...Upcoming treasure trove?

Save me a copy of the Jewish Racing Team 45 if it turns up in that batch...
ha...Ok...Doubt it though. The guy died recently at 78 and was from Louisiana, and they think he started in country radio and then 60s rock! But I've heard that one before, but he was for sure from Louisiana. Hope there is some cool rockabilly and garage or soul. Schwing! Maybe. :twistedevil: Doubt there will be any Nor-Cal garage let alone Gilroy 45s on Moby. :crap:or red label Denise 45s for the Boss.:flipped: But if I get a box of the Bad Roads 45s on Jin I'll sell you one for half price. :%:

Sounds like a cool stash. I've got both the Bad Roads discs, but I still need a Tommy Todd "Tag Along" (on Zynn)...

Just got back home from a long 2 days away from home in a packed storage unit. The LPs were pretty crappy but I bought around 3500 45s maybe more. Insane stuff, will take me weeks to go through. Some cool garage but mostly northern soul/funk/rockabilly/teen/psych etc. Mostly promos in great condition. My best load ever? Probably. Picked up a clean Ty Wagner Slander 45. Gotta get some sleep and dive in tomorrow. :yikes:

I think it's time that the highlights of this load were revealed...at least a few...even if not garage.
I just made my 1st video with my cell phone. Can I post a 3:49 video here of the 1st pile of goodies? I don't have facebook and I prefer not to put it on youtube. So what does that leave me?

Yes! That would be fun. If you can't manage the tech side, I might be able to help. How big is the file?
I could post it on G45central if you email to me. If it's too big to email, you could send it via a file transfer service or ftp it to me if you are familiar with ftp.

I received the mp4 video file from Joey. It is 491mB (about half a gigabyte). I currently have it uploading to the g45 site, and hopefully it will play ok once it is uploaded. It is very exciting to watch the 45s flip, even though I don't know many of the records, there are obviously some rare soul and r&b titles among them. No fumbles either, Joey you are a real pro.

If the file does not play properly because of its size, maybe someone can give me some advice as to how the file can be reduced in filesize, without reducing quality?

update - the file was too large for streaming. I have used an mp4 converter to reduce it to 170mB with no noticeable quality loss. Let's see how that goes.
