WOW!!The Huns (of Boulders series fame) on CD!

Hey everybody! I'd like to thank everyone for their interest and support with this release, we have been very fortunate in being able to help make this music available. We've already received a lot of feedback on the album, and the comments have all been that it sounds great.

For anyone outside the US who is interested in ordering, we are working with a new Ecommerce platform and still tweaking the international shipping process, so I apologize if the expense seems too high. Feel free to contact me directly through DM and I'll be happy to try and find an alternative shipping method.

If there are any questions, please let me know and I'll do my best to help out.

Thanks again! -Dave

Thanks, Dave. Do you have any other '60s releases planned that we can look forward to?

We do have some other exciting projects in the works. One involves unreleased material from a popular Rochester NY garage group from that was active 1964-66. This will likely start out with a 7" vinyl release, more details to come.

Another release that may be of interest to some here is unreleased material featuring Sky Saxon, recorded in 2005.

For anyone interested in the huns album on vinyl, we are working on it. Anyone who purchases the CD version will receive a discount on the vinyl if they are interested in purchasing it once it becomes available. We are working on the details and will keep you updated. Thanks!

to anyone wondering about the sound quality: i can confirm it's a huge step up from the moxie release. the previously unissued material is pretty solid too (especially the last track!)

I haven't compared the new cd to the moxie cd, but it sounds pretty decent.

HUGE thumbs up to this release. Other than the last live track, sound quality is solid throughout (and I'm NOT the type of guy that is going to put on headphones and listen for hiccups). All 10 songs are excellent and/or enjoyable. It's been a long time since Ace and Sundazed were releasing garage CDs every month or so, so this release is very, very welcomed. I'm sure there won't be many more single artist '60s garage band CDs reissued this year, but this one will be very tough to beat regardless.

I look forward to the next release.

This CD is beyond fantastic - the sound is incredible, given the fact that it was recorded with a bare minimum of equipment within a room of the TV studio, and second, having to make-do with the sub-par quality of the Moxie label Huns 45.

I've lamented over the lousy fidelity of the Moxie label 4 song EP since the day I bought it in 1979 or 1980 - c'mon, Mr. Gibson, why mastered to spin at 33 & 1/3 rpm playback for a 7 inch sized record? Tape dropouts galore, and the playback speed of the songs sounded far too fast. The Technics had to be pitched down to minus 4 or 5 in order to achieve realism.

But, 37 years of my patience pays off - The Moxie disc = the trash bin. The original source tapes seem to have survived in excellent condition, as evidenced upon listening to the CD. And there were more songs recorded besides the brilliant 4 known tunes cobbled for the Moxie label disc. The Huns were a kick ass group. 51 years after these tunes were captured on tape, they have lost not one ounce of intensity.
