As the subject implies, a thread for posting what you have gotten this year (2014).

Two long time wants; Derek's Accent - Ain't Got No Feelin' (promo) and Toni McCann - Saturday Date (promo).

Wasn't this what Mr. Segments "Might Thy Aural..." thread was all about (w/o the year limitation tho). Why get something new when it aint broken?

So far I found: Five Sounds ''loadin' coal'', Empty Set ''tomorrow is a long time'', Rovin' Kind ''right on time'', and Buffaloes ''she wants me''.

Tony Worsley - My Time Of Day (LP)

In terms of new stuff: German Measles Vols. 1&2, put out by Cree Records - a subsidiary of Bear Family - and done in conjunction with Ugly Things. Both volumes are vinyl only.

Small Faces - Here Come The Nice box set. Definitely geared towards the hard core fan, this is a thing of beauty. Limited to 3000 copies and done with the full involvement of Kenny Jones and Ian McLagen.

Great stuff. Strangely enough when I went to pay and pick up the copy of 'Derek's Accent' 45 on Friday, the bloke who sold it to me (a friend) was playing 'My Time of Day' on the player. In attendance was the drummer of Phil Jones and the Unknown Blues (another good friend of mine - so privileged!). We were all chatting about the scene back in the sixties with a cup of coffee in hand. :-)

Just got a VG copy of Brian Arthur's "What Can You Do With A Broken Heart" for $9. More jangle/pop than garage, but still somewhere on the garage spectrum.
