The best thing about garage collecting in 2015 was the majority of my most treasured sides coming from forum members or at least off-ebay. Here’s the top-ten that provided the most joie de vivre around here - as you can tell by the shaky hands taking these snaps:

1. BURGUNDY RUNN: Stop (Lavette)
No need to intruduce: The jingly crown of jangly folk-punk, incl. criminally non-compiled flip

2. ROLLING RAMSAXS: You’ve Hurt Me So (Boot)
Two-sided major minor-key miracle. Keep turning the little bugger over and over and over again.

3. STOICS: Enough Of What I Need (Brams)
Regally-rated double-whammy of which I vastly prefer above mentioned side due to its impeccable snarl’n’brood-combo. Its attraction is stronger than the crackles of this VG- copy.

4. APOLLO’S APACHES: Cry Me A Lie (Anybody)
The intro’s guitar-line sets the tone (urgency) which the organ reafirms. Singer could be wilder, but the label’s still wrong: this is Out of Sight AND a Big Thing.

5. CIRKIT: Yesterday We Laughed (Unicorn)
Next best thing to the incredible hot rod race acetate-version. While there a fatal crash of instruments seems imminent, here a stingy fuzz-guitar is after you. Always looked for the blue PS, but why complain about a NM purple one?

6. EVIL I: Love Conquers All (Bridge Society)
In a late-nite-psych-league with the Es Shades, never heard the Frog-boot, but this sounds great.

7. ROOTS: Long Journey (Brownfield)
While the Allah-Las do a credible version of this, the Roots still rule their own song! Pace and voice, bass and back-ground „ooooo“s – everything adds to one of the most perfect garage songs I know.

8. THUNDERBIRDS: Hey Little Girl (Century)
After missing out when 5 copies of this early take of the BFTG-classic were offered on G45 some years back, I landed one via the chilly nordics.

9. RUNAWAYS: 18th Floor Girl (Alamo Audio)
Brooding as an overcrowded delivery-room. And is that a bass-break at 3:00?

10. FORGOTTEN TYMES: Won’t You Be With Me 7” (Night Owl)
A well mannered jangler until 1:20 when it unforseably sears off to fuzz heaven.

That Wade Flemons is a killer Buckeye. You alerted me to the marvel of El Corols "Chick Chick" earlier this year, another killer, been massively outbid on it twice since, both times it hit $700+.

I've been pretty aggressively tracking down some of my top wants this year, I've a second child on the way early 2016 and my disposable income will take a bit of a hit next year so I've been trying to make hay while the sun shines. I've done not too bad.
