'60s Jangle

I've read several people on this forum state that '60s jangle folk rock is among their favorite type of music and, without question, it tops the list for me.

What are some of your favorite examples? I'd like to burn a CD of songs I might not be familiar with that fall into this category. My personal favorites are below. Others?

but my top faves are The Intruders - Now That You Know and The Rouges - You Better Look Now.

you can't top that in terms of Jangle.

A personal fave is Disillusioned Younger Generation Who do you think you´re foolin´ and Others My friend the wizard, though the latter might be more pop. I really don´t differentiate that much between pop/folk/jangle garage. It´s all good to me.

Still some of my favourites:

* The Choir- "It's Cold Outside", "In Love's Shadow" etc.
* The Fantastic Dee-Jays- "Get Away Girl", "Just A Boy" and in fact every single song they did

Maybe it's stretching the term a bit, but The Psychopaths come to my mind as well.

Seems we had the same thought there. I wrote it and then had to do something before getting back to the computer to send the post. Anyway, The Choir are great. "It's cold outside" is in my mind since weeks, although it's been quite a while since I heard it the last time. Probably due to the- cold outside...
