heard about a Starfyres and a Human Expression, but what other g45-worthy sides changed hands at A-town this time? Anybody care to give a more detailed report about the motel/fair-action?

Ron De Voos on Cycle marked $1500 mint minus, sold for $800
Grapes of Wrath on Vita, M- marked $1500, sold for $1000
One Way Streets (sunrise) VG marked $600, sold for $350
Invasion "do You Like What You See" VG+ Marked $100, sold for $80 (yaay! one for me!)
Journey Back VG++ marked at $750 sold for $400
Larry & Blue Notes "In And Out" VG marked $400 sold for $250
Hangmen Of Fairfiield County VG marked $200, sold for $150, re-sold ten minutes later for $300
Tamrons VG++ marked $700 sold for $450 (cash plus trade I believe)

There were more "quality titles" garage 45s at this show than usual, and most dealers were willing to cut asking prices.
One seller came only to the weekly swap frenzy at the Days Inn, as he was selling off his garage collection. Many Back From The Grave type discs, but the prices were what the person had paid for them. sometimes the 45 was a good deal, others were not. He did sell quite a few, but I don't know what those titles were as I didn't arrive until Thursday. I think the find overall based on rarity, was a G+/VG minus (due to a heavy scratch and not so much playwear) plays better copy of the Creations "I Want You" on Hull for $40

I was part of the "second wave" that got a chance to compete for Scott's 'high-end' garage 45 collection at the Day's Inn on Thursday. The few pieces that I needed (The Syndicate, etc.) were unfortunately gone by that time. But hey...it's always fun to see those records at a show...even if the pricing was pretty much retail on everything. Another well-known collector/label owner/New Rose recording artist also had a pretty interesting box of Virginia-label garage and soul 45s at the show late on Saturday. I just missed a copy of "Surfer's Fright" on Gama that he had by about five minutes. You snooze, you loose.
