Another new sound system

I'm going to the hardware store now to buy a sander.

After testing P5S against P5E, I have decided to discontinue P5E (Elastoplast).

The problem with P5E is the 5 layers cause the Elastoplast to curl at the sides, way too much. Also it dries out and cracks unless I use a lot of PVA. Not to mention painting the Elastoplast strips is a LOT harder, messier and slower than painting the big magnetic sheets. Finally, P5S sounds so much better, and as long as it is sanded properly before painting the STB, it can be wrapped just as tightly as the Elastoplast.

So, the Platinum Packs will contain no P5E, but lots of P5S. Also some P5N and P5F of course.

i sent a STB Black sample pack to a guy on an audio forum. He's boggled like most everyone else. The latest message he sent me today was this. I include it in case anyone here still has a CD player

Hi Mark,Ready for the best yet?My cd player platter extends forward into the room when it opens. The disc is placed label side down, in contact with the platter.I cut 4 small strips of thin tape and placed them in the recessed parts, around the cd platter, to stick on the plastic "frame."The strips work great! Thanks, S.

Remember how great I said the sound quality was, before I made "THE BRICK"? Well, it wasn't that great, I found out - until I installed THE BRICK. It's great now, but without THE BRICK, it was sorely lacking!

Now it seems that you need a thick CHUNK of STB to absorb, fix or neutralize certain sonic illnesses. At least half an inch thick.

Does that mean there'll be no product suitable for wrapping around cables? Please don't destroy any remaining P5E: I'm a strong believer in cable conditioning, even if the overall percentage of improvement achievable due to the application of P5S or P5N elsewhere in the system is lowered.

I won't destroy anything. But you can use the P5S for cables. I already did, and it's much better than P5E. It can be wrapped around cables as thin as a standard pencil. I've tried it, no problems. As long as the magnetic surface is well sanded before applying the STB.

And it sticks properly as well. Not too much, not too little.

Some digital cables and low voltage cables are thinner than a pencil (even some 240v cables), so the E** format may still come in handy for those.

I made a second brick to send to Qi, my patent attorney. I want him to be impressed so that he takes the job seriously. I used a standard cassette case to hold about 20 slices of P5S. It looks really neat and feels good to handle. And when I posted it into a slot on the dimmer box...

:yikes::yikes::yikes::yikes::yikes::yikes::yikes::yikes::yikes::yikes:

It's now abundantly clear that BRICKS are the way to go. They are INFINITE in their ability to create sonic devastation. This is the way STB must go!!! The other products are part of it, but the BRICK is the path to world domination. I am thinking hard about how I can arrange a cassette sized brick for everyone getting the Platinum Pack. It will be a lot of work...I will try but it's not a promise. I really have to do it though... :yikes:

Here's a photo of how I installed the cassette-box brick. I just dropped it into a slot on a dimmer box, and you can see the it landed on top of some insulated wires. Hopefully you can see the layers of STB inside the cassette box. There are about 20 layers of P5S in the case.

Adding this piece was incredible. Each of the two bricks has increased the sound quality much more than any of the wands, P5N or anything else. By far more. I think the fact that the cass-brick is touching the wires may be the reason it's so powerful. But the larger brick isn't, and it's just as powerful. But it's twice the size.

I just spent the morning with the sander, on the balcony, sanding the shiny magnetic side of the P5S base material. It works, but you have to sand the same spot about 10 times with 40 grit sandpaper before it becomes rough enough. Fine rubber particles with magnetic metal inclusions fly everywhere and get all over your clothes, hands, in your hair....then you have to wipe down the front and back of the sheets which are totally covered in black rubber dust.

It's just not going to work. That job is far more dangerous than any of the chemicals I've ever used.

But I had a better idea! Maybe I could just get some spray glue in a can, and lightly spray the shiny surface. That would give a rough enough surface for the paint to stick. I'm going to try.

Wow, a new product! When does it hit the stores?

You don't think the magnetism might adversely affect the signal? It might create eddy currents in the cable.

Once the tape is applied, you could paint on extra layers - same goes for any E** product.

Okay, that does it! I've reported you to OH&S, WorkSafe, SafeWorkAustralia, EMA, and COVIDSAFE for good measure.

I have calculated that the STB Brick market is potentially a $3.4 billion dollar industry. Bigger than pork bellies. I will need a lot of spray glue and masks. And a couple of extra drop sheets.

Who do you think I should get to endorse the STB Brick? Elton? Madonna? Eminem? Or go straight for Justin Bieber?

Check out my swank new P5S manufacturing facility. I'm using a roller now - so much better. Consistent coverage and low wastage, and it's much faster.

On the sheet of the left, you can see the uneven result I was getting with the sander. The sheet on the right is spray glued only. Much better.
I will do some with P5S with 5 layers for the bricks and general use, and some P2S with 2 layers for thin cables.
