Another new sound system

I now have 10 Cass-blocks installed. They are the ones I'm sending out with the Platinum Packs. Two more to go to fill all forum orders. I can tell you, I am almost weeping at the way it sounds with 10 Cass-blocks. Every time I make one, I install it on my system for testing, leaving the others in place. Every single time, the SQ ratchets up even further. It's really hard to describe, how something can already be so good yet keep getting better. It's because it's a completely new thing, a level of SQ that just didn't exist before Massive STB. So how could I know how far it could go? Nobody does.

I wonder how long before your neighbours are weeping for joy at the unexplained fidelity coming from their hi-fis - or just weeping because of the constant loud music coming from next door.

Latest report -

I have vastly underestimated the beneficial effect of Massive STB on the wall outlets. Today I cut about 100 pieces of STB for the Cass-Blocks, and before using them in the blocks, I placed them on top of the square traveller's converting plugs I'm using at the wall sockets (I have to use them because the 3 meter power cords I'm using have UK pins, supplied by Kii).

With about 50 slices of STB sitting on top of each wall socket converter, the SQ is through the roof again. I can see where this is leading. I see glimpses of it now. It's virtually a convincing window onto the recording, in certain cases. Actual realism that you CAN'T deny. It's very differnet from realism you CAN deny. Really messes your mind. It would be totally good with some company here, but being alone with something this crazy is a bit disconcerting. Different on all recordings of course. The point of this post though, is to let you know that at least 5 cass-blocks on the wall socket would not be too much.

Actually, I don't think any amount of STB would be too much. STB is infinite, for all practical purposes. It just improves the sound forever. At least there is no end that I can see, and I have taken it well into the Twilight Zone! :wtf:

I've actually been considering giving them a Cass-Block to get them on side. But they don't ever complain. The bass is incredibly low, but the incredibly realistic depth reconstruction means everything seems louder at the listening position, because the sound appears to be coming from outside the room or behind the wall, when it's actually coming from the speakers much closer to me, therefore less actual volume is being generated than I am perceiving.

Here are the 2 stacks of STB I placed on the wall outlets. The improvement they made was awesome. But they have to go into the Platinum Packs!

I can see it now, my new roof covered in STB shingles. Home ownership will never be the same.

It sounds like you've gone beyond, or soon will, the sound quality of the original recording. Somehow, STB is changing reality, maybe even the past.

At this point, I'll believe almost anything. I think there's some really strange stuff going on. Even the way I came up with this is downright weird. Everything I tried just worked. I hardly had any setbacks. Sure I studied up on the internet, but things just fell into place like they were meant to happen. The formula is complicated, but every part of it is needed and has a purpose. Why didn't some audio company, or a bunch of scientists invent this? It does something so profoundly extraordinary, it really shouldn't have just dropped into my lap the way it did. I just wished it could happen and it did. Weird!

And the way it has no apparent limit. That's very strange. You would think it would get to a point where it started to hurt the sound in some way. But it doesn't, ever. Nothing I know just gets better and better, seemingly without end. Only the Magic Pudding or other stuff in fairy tales or dreams. Not in reality!

I mean, what would you think if I said "I'm going to invent a paint that will turn your average amplifier into a perfect amplifier, better than any currently in existence. And your average mid-fi cables, will be transformed into cables that are better than $30,000 Nordost Odin II cables just by sticking some painted frig magnets on the wall socket"...would you believe me?

Boss Midas and his hi-fi touch...

Actually, you're the only one I'd believe.

Then hark back to our earlier theory that STB is altering your perception. Perhaps it's simultaneously perfecting the playback and improving your hearing, thus giving the impression that it's increasing he fidelity beyond that of the original recording.

Hmmm...I'm not sure about the "beyond the original recording" part. Who is to say what is the limit in the fidelity of the original recordings, if no-one currently has the right equipment (or enough STB) to play them properly. Maybe the recordings still have tons of hidden fidelity even with my massive STB setup...?

I'm pretty sure you need body guards at this point. You must be protected at all costs.

Yes. I think I'm being followed by agents from the Graphene Institute. :%: And a black limousine is parked outside the house - I think it may be from the Patent Office :kool:. And every time I log in to my computer, I get this message written in Chinese that wasn't there before. :yikes:

Today I cut lots more Cass-Block squares. I put them in stacks near the breaker/dimmer box. Naturally the SQ continued to go up. But the lighting system in the house doesn't work while there's so much STB under the stairs. I have one of those Clipsal automated computer controlled lighting setups. Bad mistake, I should have stuck with an old fashioned system. As soon as I remove the stacks, the lights work. Put the stacks back, the lights don't work again. Instead of turning on, the wall switches flash red and blue until some of the STB stacks are taken away. :(

Looking on the bright side, you don't need lights to listen to the stereo...:D

Very peculiar. Any idea what's happening?
No. I've had a lot of problems with the lights for months now. Problem is I can't remember if the problems started before the STB experiments. I think they did. But I'm certain the STB is having an effect, because of the way the problems disappear if the STB is removed.

i removed all of the STB from the breaker boxes and dimmer boxes tonight, and the lights are fixed. However the sound is just as good or better than before I removed the STB. I still have all the Massive STB on the back of the stereo, and after the lights were fixed, I placed all the STB that was on the breaker/dimmer boxes on a chair near the boxes. So there is plenty of STB close by but not any actually stuck on the boxes. Anyway, the sound is probably the best it's ever been. I can't really work out what's going on. I will have to get the electriucian to fix the problems that have been there for months (lights not working in some locations, garage door not opening etc.).
