I didn't get the LP version. Also, I do not know which tracks came from my collection. I sent vinyl transfers of all the tracks to Dave Laing (except for some piece of rubbish which should never have been included anyway), but he had a few tracks available on master tape. He didn't tell me which mastertapes / vinyl transfers he used, and I haven't bothered to try to work it out. I would imagine that the better sounding tracks are from my vinyl transfers. Seriously.

Now, it's a limited 1000 release, it's a double LP record, if a few hours were also spent getting all those tracks mastered professionally and all royalties payed, such a retail price don't surprise me at all. That's the normal price to pay for such releases, and my guess is that there's not much bucks made outta that all at the end.

Didn't even know this comp existed! Just ordered it. It's not too dissimilar to my own listening CD-R comp. It will be interesting to compare the audio quality with what I could achieve with my rudimentary equipment from 18 years ago.

A local chain here called jb hi-fi has the vinyl at a reasonable price..especially seeing as our aus dollar sucks,i'm sure they would ship internationally.
