Greetings, sports fans - for the first time in approx 2 decades I will be attending the Austin Record
Convention next month. I will not have a table of discs at the event; however, I am going to have
several boxes of vinyl available for sale/swap at one of the motels where the record show attendees congregate.
2 boxes of 12" + 2 boxes of 7", including a healthy dose of '60s 45s that may be of interest to the g45
crowd. Such as: The Bees on Liverpool (no PS, sorry), Pulsating Heartbeats on Pace Setters, The Knights
on Delta, Young Aristocracy on Acropolis, The Skeptics on Kampus, Oscar And The Majestics on Soulful,
Great Society on Northbeach (unplayed), Miller on UK Columbia, Shakemakers on Swedish Polydor (w/ PS),
and more of like ilk. In addition, I will have a half dozen unreleased, one-of-a-kind acetates up for grabs,
ranging in musical quality from very good to stone killer. Only a couple of these acetates have ever been
leaked and only to a very select few (moptopmike + 1 other g45 member - not bosshoss); the remainder
are complete unknowns to virtually all.
My intentions are to have these available for perusal starting the evening of Wednesday, May 15, all day
Thursday, May 16 and perhaps the evening of Friday, May 17. Anyone interested in more specifics, get
ahold of me a week or so before the show dates. Hope to see/meet fellow g45 members and do some
wheeling and dealing there.
