Back From The Grave Vol. 9?

I couldn't make the trek far away to the secret locale to master 45s for the next few planned volumes of roughs for Teenage Shutdowns this week with Tim, so he swung by to borrow approximately 80 45s to master. He came back three days later, all excited about a potential BFTG Vol 9. It is feasible, if the band members representing groups selected for #9 accept the legal contract template for a royalty payment pool based upon sales, monies to be calculated after expenses and costs to produce the compilation are realized from sales. Quite different than the old pre-net days when Crypt could manage to pay out a larger royalty sum prior to release per located group. With the penchant for freeloaders and the entitlement generation expecting no-cost downloads, a template plan covering such nefarious activities is mandatory. If the band members and copyright owners agree to terms, then a Grave 9 would be forthcoming. It will take a LOT longer to get this project done, given the circumstances and high standards set by the previous 8 volumes.

I'm comfortable with the idea that this might happen someday. If Tim Warren is jumping for joy at the possibly of grave 9, then that's all I need to know

Hopefully it happens in the future!
