Backsides Of The Grave

Part 3 downloaded and heard! Thanks Lee, I cannot wait till you upload the next part! Looking forward to hearing the rest of them (unheard) flips!

The Intruders Five track wasn't so bad in all honesty. I actually liked it.

PART 4

The working title for this was simply 'Straight-Up Garage' which it for the most part is. Most of these are well known in this community and there's not that many surprises.
I had not heard Me And Them Guys killer instrumental - awesome stomp.
Same goes for 'One Pine Box' that I've been longing to hear since I bought my first Grave some 20 years ago.
The third (of the comps four) instro 'Rick O'Shay' was also new to my ears. Nice mover.

Oh, and to appease Frantic's wish for kewler sub-titles I really went out of my way. I even added an exclamation mark!

I'm off to make some back-cover art now!

Volume 3 was good for trim painting, laid back, calm and sweet. I pretty much kept the edges clean and no spills.

Volume 4 however has got me splashing Jackson Pollack style across the floor and ceiling. It is freaking amazing. Some great old favourites mixed with some, unheard to me, scorching proper punkers. I feel like I'm on speed right now, grinding my teeth, can't paint no more, wanna smash stuff.:yikes:

thanks again...

I'm gathering strength for upping (and proof-listening to) the fifth and last part. You bring dijon and bread, I provide the turkey.

I'll also make the 3 missing back-covers after that. It is easier for me to make them all at once..

It's time. It's come. You know where I'm coming from - SUCKSTRATION!!

It is the mighty last part of the Buried Alive-series. Some things should stay dead. These gobblers are back with a vile, stinking, smelly VENGEANCE!! I tell ya, I had to make this with my ears closed.
Listen sister, if you can find ONE song here to defend and convince me that it is listenable - I owe you a burial.

Seriously tho, this has been a lot of fun and I'm very grateful for all the help I've gotten from the esteemed members of this fantastic board. You are all awesomely awesome.

And greenfuzz - backsides comin' up!

You were right Lee, some of those were TERRIBLE

:biglaugh:Disappointed as hell in that Trey Tones flip, but either way, I'm glad I got to hear it finally:sneaky:

"Dawn Of A New Day" and "Waiting For You Here" were also pretty boring. And what's the deal with Larry And The Blue Notes? That song goes on slow, then suddenly picks up tempo at the very end? :screwy:

The folky ballad by The Nobles wasn't too shabby though. That one surprised me! I also liked the gloomy flip to "Heart Filled With Love". Cool stuff!

Thanks again Lee, and thanks also to all the people who contributed tracks to this project. I truly appreciate it G45'ers:cool:

Lee

I couldn't help notice that a few sides weren't featured... I think? :wtf:

After listening to BFTG vol. 7, I noticed that The Grifs flip wasn't included. The same could be said for The Dogs who do "Don't Try To Help Me".

Did anyone send you these?
  1. The Grifs - Northbound (Palmer)
  2. The Dogs - ? (Treasure)
  3. Dave Myers & Disciples - Please Stay (Harmony Park)

hmmm, musta got lost somewhere in the action..

please don't tease me about it, cause now I don't think about it at aaaaall..
