Beyond TeenBeat Mayhem

How about the Cascades on Charter ''my best girl'' or the City Zu on Dot ''stop running away''?

I did not see it noted in either book of a one sided copy of the Pebbles on Prince (I have it).

I saw it listed, but not a one sided copy. b side is blank. You listed on with same title both sides. Unless i missed that too.

The entry explains that some pressings have "Don't Come Running To Me" on both sides.
There's no need to add another line to waste page space when the song is already listed with the non TBM-worthy released B side.

I was just letting everyone know that this version exists for those who might want to know.

Mike, I didn't notice Fourmost Authority (Left Hand Lawyer/Dance Dance) in TBM -- were they a non-U.S. group?

I don't think the intent of TBM was to include details about multiple pressing variations of certain records. That includes promos, stock copies, different label designs, etc, unless the content is different.

If that is what you believe then why don't you complain about the entry stating that copies having same title on both sides? I do not see much difference in that compared to what I stated.

I just say this on ebay with seller stating that the group Change is the same group Teddy & his Patches. Has this been confirmed?

No, Dave Conway of Teddy & His Patches had some involvement with the band but Teddy or the other Patches DID NOT. Ace is working on a comp with some Teddy stuff on it. Also, here's a record that a few people know about but it seems that no one has a clue that it's a pre-Patches Teddy Flores!!!

My post oughta jack up the going price on that one.

Thanks for spotting those omissions!
Had the Symbols corrected from a while back but Sir Charles was erroneously listed as "Come On Home"
Here are the results:

Comin' On Home - 4.9
Current Top 16,000 position #5502

Give Me Time - 5.8
Current Top 16,000 position #2623

Top 16,000 positions (soon to surpass 17,000 titles) are different from the Beyond TeenBeat Mayhem listings

Thanks Mike! In the meantime, I failed to find SMACKS - Nobody else is gonna do

- mystery solved: I found it under "No one else will do"

Hey Mike, with a new year upon us, would you mind posting a status update on the digital TBM project? Curious to hear if I can spare myself hand-correcting new information in the books, which I'd do if there's an online version imminent.

It isn't a digital TBM book, only the A to Z listings, amended and updated.
It includes unissued songs recorded by groups that DIDN'T have an LP (otherwise, the ratings would require three times more work than it already does). So, no unished Beau Brummels, Remains, etc. Just unreleased "master tape only" tracks by the obscure combos.
In addition, songs that were shown as unavailable for a rating in both books, and songs that were only issued on compilation type LPs in the '60s, like the New York Ren-Vell Battle Of The Bands LP. That said, the mighty Traits "High On A Cloud" rocketed into the Top 1000, as it should be.
Target date for unveiling is summer or fall of this year.

Ben Zine What The Heck's The Hanky Panky...Not in TBM. Why? Other than a dumb title, stupid lyrics and kinda novalty at times, it has pretty cool vocals and a neat guitar break. Flip of Northern biggie Village Of Tears which makes it a a$200+ rekkid.
