Boot Hill - Lift The Love Within You

I was recently listening to a Debris comp by The Swyne and came across this song. I really like it.
While there were some good LP's that came out in 1971, this seemed to be a period of "boogie rock" and "blues rock" (nether being my taste).
Not sure what "style" this would be. It doesn't exactly sound "proto-metal" but maybe "hippie rock?" Anyway... any of you know if there are any other bands like this that would be worth checking out?
