Doing some editing on discogs I see that the Chocolate Watchband "Sweet Young Thing" 45 exists in versions that have a remastered A-side. Some of these (including a white label promo) have "RE" printed at the end of the matrix number on the A-side labels and also "Re" in the runout etching. But there's also a couple pressings (again including a promo) which have a distinctive deep pressing ring indentation. These do not say "RE" on the labels, but are from the remastered plates as seen in the etchings. Anyone know the story here? Has anyone ever played one back-to-back with a non-remastered pressing? What's the difference in sound? I only own a non-remastered promo.
