Cool 'discovery' stories

Asking MTM to tell a story about a quantity find in another thread inspired me to come up with this thread. This is the place to tell cool/bizarre/unbelievable/... stories about how bands were rediscovered by collectors or how quantities were found. Stuff like the Jr. & The Soulettes story (although that's not really 60s garage).

I'm one of the young guys on the forum so I have no idea if there's a lot of stories like this.

If you search through the old G45 forum, you'll find lots of stories you seek.
It's too much work for me to retype things I've posted elsewhere in the past .

Just tried it to look for stories but it didn't work.

Just scroll through all the topics, that's what I do whenever I need to find something. You might have to dig a little but you should find some stories
