Is it permitted to post non US group pics within the rarified precincts of G45 central? Guess I'll test the waters, these guys delivered world class krunchin' mayhem in spades. ( whatever it is that "in spades" means...)

Though I've developed a sinking sort of feeling in the past few moments that this post is not in the appropriately designated section for weird monster Euro beat, if in fact such a hallowed precinct has yet been ordained?

QCXV would have been a better name than Q65.

By the way, why does the US have some privileged position within the global '60s music community? Is it just the sheer, overwhelming quantity compared to everywhere else?

Well OK then, here's a somewhat ferally urbane pic of QCXV's most formidable competition, taken prior a performance at Paris' premier beat club La Locomotive.

Anyone care to hazard a guess as to the identity of this singular combo?

OK, here's a hint--> The groups first record was on Polydor, although under a different name than the band subsequently adopted. And much as I've tried I've yet to have even heard it, much less track down a copy.

If Swampthing ever makes an appearance here perhaps he'll be able to ID this award winning outfit. Anyone else care make a stab?
