This is a new one on me. Totally automatic. Cleans with water only, but cleaning fluid can be added. Looks like a pop-up toaster. Anyone seen one/used one? Too dear for me, but looks interesting.

Looks like a fancy ultrasonic bath to me. You can buy a regular lab ultrasonic bath for a fraction of the cost on amazon or any lab supplier that does the same job. You just need to add a DIY motor/mechanism or rotate by hand. Not as pretty but it'll clean you records in the same way.

You might be right. But I spoke to the local record shop owner who has one of these machines, and he said it was really great

I think one of those would be great. But the price does seem very high compared to cheap clones available on eBay. Like more than 10 times higher.
