E X T E N D E D P L A Y - Are you game?

Recently I scored the Bo Street Runners Oak ep, which has to be the crown jewel of my ep collection I guess.

Never managed that one, though I count myself fortunate to have found this back in the 80's. As the story goes OAK 7" releases were issued in runs of 99 or fewer copies, evidently in a bid to avoid some sort of tax. The fiendish difficulty of finding OAK releases certainly supports this theory, to my mind at any rate.
Having heard "Walking The Dog" on the Demention Of Sound comp I was determined to track down all the sides issued on that estimable release. Not surprisingly this proved the toughest, aside form The Exiles acetate, which I never even harbored any il/delusions of finding.

Here's a Yardbirds EP from Mexico. I like the pilfering of the Roger the Engineer cover.

A couple of odd Move EP's:
From Israel. RZ-1001. I wonder if there was ever an RZ-1002.

From New Zealand 1978. I love the use of the photo from the wrong era.

That Yardbirds EP from Roger is cool - that's got to be one of my favorite lps. Got an original UK mono pressing with that cover variation at a library sale in Cincinnati that sounds great.

A couple of EP's by the explosive Dynamites. The first (privately pressed) sports a xerox of the PS, originals are ridiculously thin on the ground.

Two Swiss only 45's comprise this EP, with Don't Leave Me Behind & Tell Me Yes Or No being the highlights for me. Try & track down the original singles to hear them as they were meant to be heard.
