Pseudonym outta the Netherlands has just released the Complete Outsiders: Thinking About Today 2 cd set. I've had all this stuff on cd before but this collects every song they ever recorded in one place on 2 discs with incredible sound. Great booklet with scans of all the pic sleeves and liners written by Mike Stax. Their 1st LP almost can't be beat.

I've been listening to the following track (I Would Love You) all day. I just can't get enough of it. I love that beat man!

It has to be "1 To 3" by the Conqueroo, from the Vulcan album:

and "Think Twice" from Salvation (called The New Salvation Army Banned earlier)

Here's a fuzzy overview of the bands early catalog, with a curiousity or several sprinkled in...

"I Would Love you" is truly amazing. Something to listen to all day indeed.

Lately I have been obsessing over the Everly Brothers' "Two Yanks in England" LP, partly backed by the Hollies. Here is one of the top numbers, their cover of the Hollies' "Have You Ever Loved Somebody." This is the stereo mix, though I have been digging it in mono.
