Favourite compilation album song

Yep, as much as I still love '60s garage, I no longer get that powder-keg-being-detonated-under-you effect I used to get in my 20s, 30s, and even 40s, and even early 50s, while listening to one of my faves.

I hope that this does not happen to me. When I was a kid; discovering the Beatles in the very early 70's, I couldn't get enough of their music. I would have never thought that I'd grow tired of them. For the last 30 years, I've played more tunes by the Zombies.

Well if that "Don't Send me No Flowers" version didn't shock you then I doubt you're on the right forum. For a comp so late in the game Lost Souls 1 is a great compilation, extremely well presented with well researched liners and some unknowns even for long time connoisseurs. Maybe not as great as "Up From the Grave" that came 2 yrs later, but that would be asking too much.

We can't all love the same things. No doubt the research is fantastic I just judged them by the songs I like.
