Starting way back in late November:
A VG++ copy of The Clue - Bad Times/She's the Reason on Byron sold for $311.78.

I guess it depends upon the setting of the point where "big money" terminology kicks in for you..

VG-VG+ copy of Murphy and the Mob "Born Loser" on Talisman went for $1636.00 yesterday.

I got a copy in really great condition earlier this year. Even more delighted with it after seeing the price above, even if it was comfortably my biggest spend of the year.

This is not a garage record, but i think this is really crazy even for a 7000 dollar record!!!! How much will the northern soul collectors end up paying for a bite-size chipped record. To me it would drive me nuts not be able to hear a record from the beginning.

Since when is a poor condition record, a VG? A crack, chip, or a huge bite outta the vinyl is not a VG 45.

Man, I really wanted this one, but I think the former host of this thread won it. Unfortunately, I am looking to buy a new car, and couldn't justify the purchase right now. However, if this is truly the 5th known copy, and it is a legit VG+, the price doesn't seem too unreasonable.
