G45 Ebay Watch

It's nice to see others posting eBay auction results. I certainly claim no ownership over this topic. As a matter of fact, I'm only substituting until the original topic owner returns to the forum. :) Continuing through the backlog, these higher dollar eBay sales kicked off June:

1. A VG++ copy of Graf Zepplin - You're In My Mind/Sunset on Orlyn sold for $390.
2. A VG+ copy of Larry & the Blue Notes - Night of the Phantom/All My Own on 20th Century Fox sold for $378.
3. A VG copy of The Cave Dwellers - Run Around/You Know Why on Jim-Ko sold for $840.
4. A VG+ copy of Larry & the Blue Notes - Night of the Phantom/All My Own on Tiris sold for $392.
5. A M- copy of Ken & the Forth Dimension - See If I Care/Rovin Heart on Star-burst sold for $317.
6. A VG- copy of The Esquires - Come On, Come On/These Are the Tender Years on Glenvalley sold for $267.

and here are a couple from mid-June:

1. A VG copy of The Cicadelics - We're Gonna Love This Way/What Can I Do on Psychidelic sold for $861.
2. A VG+ copy (with G+ P/S) of The Boy Blues - Coming Down to You/Living Child on Frantic sold for $383.

Just won a copy of The Satisfactions - Only Once on LEE for $85. Seems very cheap for such a killer tune that sounds like it should have been on BFTG. Just curious if copies had ever turned up in the past, as only two other online sales show up on Popsike/Cfrenzy. I'll take tunes like this all day for that price!

Lucky guy! I've watched it and thought to offer for it but I have no money for records for the next two month, arghh! This is a great tune!

A VG+ copy of The Blades-Moving Out (Jul, 29, 2013) sold for $240,50

A VG cpy of The Outcasts-Think (Jul,30, 2013) sold for $33

It's a boot. This (not this disc) operation was discussed, I think it was, over on Waxidermy. They press up small quantities of in-demand 45s and presents them as This is a private test press from Tokyo Japan, it will NOT see a general release

Wow, wonder who is behind this enterprise...£280 asking price for something worth no more than £5 at the most!!

This was never a rare record. $75 is about the right price. Moerer and other had them.

Satisfactions was a solid $75 record for years and years. Must have been 100 unplayed copies found. also the Marauders on Lee, although not as many found as the Satisfactions. No quantity at all for the Beethoven Four on Don-Lee. The Lee label (Satisfactions & Marauders) is actually the same label as Don-Lee.

I guess if The Satisfactions had ever been on BFTG, than now it is a $150 or $200 one!
I havn't seen it often for me it is a rare one like the Sting-Rays Of Newburgh-Fool, or something!

I'm pretty surprised at that, I would have expected it to go higher. I'd have paid more than that myself had I seen it. It's been a saved search of mine for ages but I clearly missed it.

:-(
