G45 Ebay Watch

HA! non-taken, I really was hoping that it wouldn't go that far!! but it did. Now, Texas Flashback vol 1 is one of the first comps I heard before getting into buying garage 45's, so every time one pops up I do my best to get it :).
God knows if I'll ever get my hands on The Headstones, Finnicum or Reasons Why......seems every single disc on this comp (if I'm not mistaken) is rare to super rare, with the exception probably of the Sweetarts.

But I do have to agree, not happy with the result...this one is going on the NEED to upgrade box, along side Playboys of Edinburg.
I do love that 45 and would like to own a copy too. Congrats!

Yeah, but that sleeve was tattered. This looked much better. Also think the first one went under the radar for a few folks who already had the 45 and maybe had removed it from their saved searches. Since a PS was unknown up until these two surfaced.

I guess so. It's a great two sider so I'm not surprised if the record goes up in value either way. But I figured it was about a $150-$200 record. That would make it an $1,100 sleeve.

Greg, The King Bees Pyramid 45, I think, is well worth $500 M-, and that was before we ever knew a picture sleeve existed. It rarely surfaces, let alone in top condition.
There are more copies of the Tamrons offered on-line and privately than either the King Bees or the Londons. Those are two groups that have not been properly contacted / located.
The more, let's say, easier to find Pyramid 45s are: The Avalons, the Damascans, and the Fabulous Wunz.
all were around and usually sold for $50 or less.

Thanks Mike,
I should have specified vg-vg+ on that estimate. I've never seen anyone sell a M- copy so I was basing that on the played copies I've seen sold around here. I had no idea there were more Tamrons being offered. Wouldn't you have to factor in that the King Bees is a less known record with a lower profile? Far fewer recorded sales on the internet. Things seem rarer until everybody wants it. As we've seen with Mod DJ titles, demand brings records out of the woodwork. Do you have info that leads you to believe there are actually fewer copies? Since I moved to NC 10 years ago I've seen a lot more Pyramids. Lots of beach and pop titles just like JCP, but every once in a while something really outstanding pops up. I've seen at least three copies of the King Bees here in town and I'm not even close to the action. I'm in western Appalachia.
