My apologies......
I'm not a record collector either. I'm terribly sorry if this has angered anyone or loused up an auction. It wasn't intended to.
Didn't bother me, but then I'm not after the Denise 45.

While we're all talking about Denise & Co , I noticed that one of the bidders not only do they show as doing 45% of their bidding with this particular seller , they have 18 bid retractions in the last 6 months . Maybe thats not suspicious but it certainly made me wonder . Any thoughts ?
Sounds like our buddy in Italy...He bid on one of my items and then retracted his bid and then he got blocked...Ya mess with the bull...ya get the horns![]()
A copy of the Bees without PS went for $382
The grading was vague and it wasn't play graded either.
Ebay's new automated shipping fills out the custom form automatically with price info. I haven't found a way to change it. Printing paid shipping labels through ebay is convenient but sellers pay for it - final value fees are charged on shipping costs as well as the item. They also belong to the increasingly growing holier-than-thou seller click who refuses to put a low value on the packages.
Well, the nerves I felt as I punched in a four figure snipe proved to be totally pointless. Not even close.
Fly-Bi-Nights - Found Love - $3600+ - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/380430337...AX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649#ht_1051wt_922
I've always stated that people are free to pay whatever they desire to own a 45.
The problem with a $3600+ winning bid for the Fly-By-Nights is that the next copy which comes along will not be sold for even half of this price, because all ebay sellers now insist this is the "going rate" for this 45. And it isn't only ebay sellers - every record pimp out there who has the notion of profiting at the expense of needy collectors will check every on-line price tally resource. So, if a copy surfaces in a shop somewhere, chances are better than good that you will see this 45 with a 3 grand pricetag. Or, listed in perpetuity on ebay with a buy it now price that far far exceeds a true market driven price.
