I can't wait for the year end roundup on this one

Alec Palao and I finally got to hang out with the great Pete Paulsen down in French Camp, Ca. last week. Pete ran Paulsen Productions in the mid 6ts and booked 100s of bands around the San Leandro, Ca. area. Here are just a few of the killer glossys Pete was nice enough to give us.

It's been a very slow year digging up rare gold here in Nor-Cal so today I hit the garage sales. An older couple had a half full box of lps mostly Catholic religious lps with some classical and show tunes but for some reason these were also in there, all in near mint like new condition. I've been looking for the SEARCH PARTY for 20 years to no avail and today there it was. I doubt there is a cleaner copy on the planet. The price 25 cents each.:yikes:

Now you just need to get out there and find another copy of the recently discovered Search Party EP (Century pressing)!

He just removed the close-up scans for some reason. But the best cut is not there. Only songs from the album, do not know if they are different takes, but the catalogue number precedes the the lp, 32013. Unfortunately, the superior song on the album is not on the EP (So many things have got me down)

is that the only known copy? did anyone know that it existed? wonder if came with a ps?

That was pretty ok, dug the guitar parts especially. If you're looking to get rid of this and the clean looking Ylvisaker, I'm game. The Search Party is unfortunately waaay out of my price range.

waaaaaaaaaaaaay is right, but I'll pm you later concerning the other 2. In the same batch I picked up a religious lp called HYMNS HOT AND CAROLS COOL. It has a priest on the cover playing bongos! What's wild about this batch find is the seller said 3 other guys had already gone through the box and bought nothing!:twistedevil: Here's a sound file that waxidermy put up of the best song TAKE TIME. Kinda cool with fuzzy leads.

Congrats, Joey!! The pickings have been REAL slim down here. The competition is unreal these days. I am not finding anything in the wild, and all the guys I used to get first shot with are addicted to FLEABay.
