If you were making your own compilation, what tune(s) could never be left out?

"I'm Movin' On" by Evil, "Clouds Don't Shine" by the Gaunga Dyns, and "So What" by the Lyrics.
The Gaunga Dyns from New Orleans? Great band! I'd love to hear "Clouds Don't Shine". It seems to be uncomped yet.

Moody, menacing, intense... perfect! I put it on "Jeff's Moody Monsters", if you have a copy of that old forum comp.

Hi Tom,
I've never made a comp before:) but it seems like a good idea! My problem is I don't know how to upload multiple songs to the net at once, for example, on a site like Megaupload,or Rapidshare. Any tunes I've ever sent over the net to anyone I've always sent one at a time via e-mails. Maybe someone could chime in with a suggestion or two...

Just compress all the song files into a zip file ( it's easy just highlight the files left click and look for the zip function) then just upload the zip to any cloud / share service on the web. Hope it helps

I've been contacted twice by The Gaunga Dyns singer/songwriter Steve Staples over the years and both times the promised email interview never materialised. He mentioned he had several pics of his group. I don't think any pic of The Gaunga Dyns has shown up before...

The Gentlemen - It's A Cry'n Shame
Knights Bridge - Make Me Some Love
Adrian Lloyd - Lorna
Briks - It's Your Choice
Hysterics - Won't Get Far
Five Canadians - Writing On The Wall
Fanatics - I Will Not Be Lonely

Had to cut a few hundred titles off my list. It was starting to look a little too much like the TBM top 1,000!

There are pics of the Gaunga Dyns within the issue of Brown Paper Sack 'zine, accompanied by a detailed story of the group.

The Seeds - Pushin too hard
Music Machine - Talk talk
The Answers - Please please go away
The Locks - I can see it
Hysterics - all 5 songs! (counting the diff. Love-Ins take)
Electric Prunes - I had too much to dream
Starfires - I never loved her

Shit, now I started playing 45s and drinking wine and it's just 14:58...

Why did you start so late in the day? I was up at 6:30 and the first record I blasted was "She Was Good" by the Talismen!

Back from Buffalo!
I'm just in the process of making a "comp" file of all these tunes with label scans where I have them. I didn't have all the tunes, but I may look for some of them out of curiosity.
You guys came up with a pretty kick ass list of tunes! I made a playlist for my ipod and I will post the link shortly. I hope you will enjoy it!
