Iron Butterfly bassist Lee Dorman dead at age 70

I saw them in the late 80's or early 90's--all the original members except the lead guitarist Eric Brann of course. They were fantastic live. RIP

More to Iron Butterfly than In A Gadda Da Vida! The Rhino Handmade CD of the Fillmore East shows from April '68 is well worth a listen. Heavy and Ball are, in my opinion, much better albums than the mega hit.
