Knight Raiders - Edgewood Studios acetate

Aw, man! Killer song with a killer transfer. I'd love to get a 45 when they're pressed. And a full-res digital download, if it's available. I like to have a digital copy for my home server. It may have been stated by those much closer to the 'biz than myself, but if you're going to press a 45, you probably want to ensure that it's being pressed from the highest-resolution file that Bosshoss gave you, whatever that may have been (definitely NOT the mp3!).

There's a website where artists sell their wares called Bandcamp. I know many artists sell records through that site that come with digital downloads of the songs on the vinyl.

Congrats on preserving this monster for the ages!

Thanks, Ryan. I penciled you in for a 45. Mr. Bosshoss made three files: MP3, WAV and Flac. I’m still looking for a company that can press small-run vinyl and print labels and jackets for 45s. I thought I found a few, but I lost the links to their websites.

So, if anyone knows a company that can do this, please let me know. Thanks!

Hello all,

It's been awhile since I spent some time around these parts, but there's a good reason. For most of the past year, Bosshoss and I have been working together on a secret project - to produce a 45 RPM vinyl record of the two Knight Raiders songs. Bosshoss performed the digital transfers from a pristine acetate obtained from a former music promoter and also designed the record jacket. Me? I played the drums.

You can buy a copy or two at Ebay - https://www.ebay.com/itm/2359751395...uid=s9EC8IsvQI6&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

As a bonus, each purchase will include a link to digital files of the two songs for download to your digital music library.

You can listen to the new and improved digital versions used in the pressing at the following links:

Merry Christmas to all and to all….ROCK ON!

*I've learned that shipping rates may be much less than the $10 flat fee I originally thought when calculated based on the shipping address. In some cases as low as $3.50. Both US and international sales will be calculated before purchase. So, what are you waiting for?

Hey TJ,

Congrats on getting it pressed! I was wondering if anything was happening with this song just a few days ago. Happy to hear things have worked out.

I'll take two, please.

First off, I want to thank all those members and non-members who purchased the Knight Raiders fabulous 45 record. How's it spinning? Also, please let me know in this thread or via PM when you receive(d) your records. There were a few shipping snafus during the holidays and I want to make sure everyone who ordered a copy receives it. Otherwise, how the heck are you gonna' PLAY IT LOUD!!!

And to those who haven't yet taken the leap into garage band history, what are you waiting for? There's plenty left, so don't delay and get yours today!

Thanks!

TJ

My copies arrived last week in bomb-and-Canada-Post-proof packaging, packed with pro-level care.

The sleeve is really classy, and the pressing is top-drawer. The music, as I'm sure all here know, is killer-diller!

Thanks a million, TJ!
