Lou Reed Words & Music, May 1965

Where's the buying option for a single LP of the first 11 songs, without the T-shirt, without "Michael, Row The Boat Ashore" and other GRAMMY®-nominated garbage, and without the $140 price?

Funny how some songwriters create their best songs in the first two years, and everything after is a little less.

That was a hacked page - someone figured out URL and got there. Official announcement is possibly tomorrow. I'm sure there would be separate LP and CD. I think that the artwork is hideous.

As for tape, i'm really excited to hear those 1965 demos.

"Michael, Row The Boat Ashore"(?!?!?)...and "Heroin".
Gotta admit that the dude was eclectic back then.

I love how Lou laughs before annoucing "words & music by Lou Reed". Like he though to himself who the hell will use/need this song anyway with such a lyrics.
