I was looking for this song and I stumbled on this band from NC on Pyramid label.
Are 'The Eradicators' on Pyramid 'garage'? I've seen that record listed as soul. Are both songs like that?

The Eradicators version of "I've Been Hurt" came out in '66, a few years before Bill Deal & The Rhondells.

I think a group called the Sensational Epics recorded "I've Been Hurt" first, but the Tams had the regional hit with the tune in '65.
The Whatzits (whatsits) recorded a garage version on the Finch label in '67. a very popular song in the south / southeast.
