Might thy aural newbies tickle my eye

Finally got a nice copy of this want (thanks
to the dude from up in 'chicken-town'):

Sacramento continues to be a good LP town but 45s are getting harder and harder to find. But I did happen to find a clean MAUNDY QUINTET for 25 cents this year. Ended up in Alec Palao's collection via a trade.

Well played. This disc is pretty hard to find even in Florida. Love Bernie L's "stealth banjo" on the B-side.

I had long ago decided that this was never released on 45. But then one popped up on eBay so I nabbed it. A test pressing is shown on 45cat. But I believe that this is the first DJ copy found. I am sure that it was withdrawn and never released as a stock copy. The delta numbers are the same as the test pressing 67058 & 67058-X. It's in rough shape but it plays through OK. Now if I can only find a copy of the Zombies Time Of The Season on Date 1604 ...

I went to an auction that had a copy of The Other Half LP on 7/2 pictured in their listing.
I had to wait 4 1/2 hours ( the records were the last items to be auctioned of course) but won it for $3.

Also got two yearbooks from 1965 & 1966 from the Hill School in Pottstown, PA where the band were from.
Unfortunately there's not a single mention or photo of the band itself though three of the members are shown as graduating in '66
