Might thy aural newbies tickle my eye

i can account for another one of those Nomads on Skoop..Turned up for a buck at The Nashville record show a few years back

Hey Peter,

Was the Pandas the black or red vinyl? Great disc, has eluded me up until now (not counting a scant few very expensive offerings)

I once held the Puddin' Heads in my hands, just about to hand over the cash for it. Then the light caught it at a correct angle and revealed 3 faint hairline cracks running through it. Turned out the seller, who was a good friend of mine, had probably been too heavy handed flipping through his dj box and had cracked it himself.

Hi Mr Segment , Pandas is on black vinyl , some lite scuffs plays with barely discernable crackle a fairly nice copy . Puddin' Heads bright and shiny and with oodles of presence just love it .

...and yeah Norton has a quantity find of Seeds - Satisfy You w/ the p/s for $40. Well worht the $$ IMO as it's one of their best.

Many thanx for the heads up , 2 seeds & an Iguanas 45 winging there way to NZ as we speak !

Great wol as as well!
That's some load, been at a record fair?
Missing Lynx was grabbed for $100 at a record show..Was a top want for a long time. I've heard it's from NH, but no solid evidence to support that. I found the NME for a buck digging through junk shops! It appears to be pretty unknown out side of a few regional collectors. The Ebb Tides and John Browns Bodies were not cheapies, lol!!

How do they sound? Looks fab, gives off Misunderstood vibes.

Just received this little rave-up bonanza from mr.Soundog. Smashing record, the autographed sleeve and picture adding to the overall joy in the Segment household.

I remember getting a Mint copy of this single, with the same signed sleeve + photo insert about 12 years ago, must have been from the same load.

The New Musical Express is a fantastic 2 sider, Mr Segment. The A side being a psych/garage monster and the flip being more on the garage side.
@ Depravedskippy 66 : I used to pick up Arco 45's quite a bit when I was in Mass..The Ebb Tides was one I had to empty the pockets for. I used to find them more up where you're at in the Merrimac Valley.

Stopped at an estate sale just around the corner this morning and bought a stack of promos that all dated from early to mid-'67. Probably somebody's winnings from some local radio station record giveaway... I like coming into these stashes because it usually represents the stuff that didn't go well on radio.

The Younghearts.jpg

Never heard of the Younghearts, and not too familiar with Canterbury other than that Yellow Balloon single (or whatever). So at a buck a throw for 45s I figured what the hey... guess I came out okay on this one.

Another dollar, another record. Never heard it before, but pleasantly surprised...
