I stumbled on this link which contains some interesting tidbits from Montana, posted by Hi Tone. I noticed some live recording tapes of the Initial Shock, among other interesting stuff

There`s an Opus IIII 45 shown here as well. Also of interest, the "San Fransisco Bus" 45 by Cherry Tower, apparently post Missing Lynx, the 45 was pressed but the band never recieved them because they broke up! A Vulcans live tape from 66 at the Kalispell teen center includes versions of Shot Down and The Witch...I would enjoy hearing these.

Everything pictured here has been accumulated with the intention of releasing a compilation of MT bands. Many of these 45s are mine or I have heard them and I am pretty excited to get this stuff out there. The live Initial Shock stuff is cool and was miraculously found here in Missoula within the last couple months. Do you know how many copies are floating around? the blurb under the pic says it was never released...does this mean Voltron just held on to the pressing?

I'm pretty sure Barry Wickham has or had a copy of this in his most recent auction list. I got my copy direct from Mojo several years ago. If you need mp3s of it or label scans, pm me and I'll send 'em over.
