"No Silver Bird" organ loop?

Does anyone what effect the organist uses on the song? I hear an organ part that is looped but the first sound you hear on the record? What is that? A horn?

The guitar is definitely Fuzz and Tremolo combined... could well be one of the Vox built-in tremolo effects i.e. the infamous 'repeat percussion'.

the organ which acts as rhythm has tremolo, I love that type of fluttering organ tremolo.

The 'looped' sound you are querying could well be an organ with tape echo or even reversed? or could even be an early synth? or theremin??

certainly not a horn though.
