Heard that a copy of the Noblemen on Orlyn may be the highest priced garage 45 I've ever heard of..can anyone provide details?

If Denise & Co. fetches $5000-$8000 then the Noblemen should get $15000...it's that great!!! The best ever;)

I can verify that garage 45s have sold for $10k, $7.5K, and $7K - none of which were the Noblemen.

There's a copy for $1200 ish on popsike. That seems like the right ballpark - maybe 1500.

I don't know who would pay top $ for the Noblemen but all the old time big spenders have it. It's not the rarest record in the world. It sure is a killer though!

Never heard of a garage 45 going in the 10K range before, Mr Buckeye..until I heard about the Noblemen 45 at Allentown..It is a monster. Came from a reputable source..

I heard that the Noblemen 45 price was $1,500 which is reasonable for a near mint copy, but as George noted, the big spenders have a copy. One of the regulars at the show who had a chance to purchase it called me about it before the show took place. There was no mention of an astronomical price.
I did hear that a copy of the Keggs was sold for $4,000, which again, seems quite reasonable.

The one thing about Allentown is that some dealers think they can obtain ebay or popsike archived prices for their wares. This does not happen. I've missed the past two shows, but prior to that, I had noticed dealers bringing the same hi-end 45s show after show. They refuse to lower their prices, or make deals to get collectors interested in multiple purchases, so they bring their overpriced records back home.
