My memory is we ordered 100 copies. But I guess it's possible we placed a second order, and my memory is often faulty. If we ordered another 100 copies it would have been later. It would have taken us months to sell 100 copies. I do remember there were unsold copies left over when we closed the shop in '78. Here's 2 of them that survived:

Viv was one of a kind. Director D.A. Pennebaker was interviewed after a screening of his 1967 Bob Dylan documentary Don't Look Back that I saw in Austin a few years back. I asked him who threw the bottle out the window that attracted the police to the London party that Dylan attended on that 1965 U.K. tour. D.A. said it was one of The Pretty Things, and one of the party guests shown was very clearly Viv Prince. Boys will be boys...
