R.I.P. Don Grady...Dead at 68

Very sad to have heard this. He was one of the few celebrities I've dealt with that took the time to personally write fans, and he answered my questions about The Greefs. Cool guy for sure. One of the articles I read about his death stated he'd have preferred to be remembered more for his music than his acting, and I think those on this Forum definitely honor that wish.

I'm not familiar with US television, so I never heard of the Greefs. But I do like the Yellow Balloon.

The Greefs were a band Grady peformed with on the My Three Sons TV show. I'm sure you can find something on Youtube, or on Mr. Greenfuzz's 60sgaragebands website. I haven't seen the show(s) with the Greefs in 30 years.
Grady's music was more interesting than the My Three Sons TV show, which I remember as a typical bland 'family comedy' that I saw occasionally in first run. He also recorded in the 1970s under his real name Don Agrati. I seem to remember he was called "Luke R. Yoo" in the Yellow Balloon so as to disguise himself.
