R.I.P. Ray Manzarek dead at 74

He was incredibly talented. At 27 years of age in 1966 he was also much older than most garage-style band musicians. I never knew that.

On Monday (May 20) the musician's reps officially confirmed that Ray Manzarek is not dead. “He joins the long list of celebrities who have been victimized by this hoax. He's still alive and well, stop believing what you see on the Internet,” they said.
 
I've always said if their records were private pressings (especially Break on Through) most of the folks on this forum would be more than willing to pay $$$$$ for the early records.

I'll wait for the daily paper tomorrow.

Anyway, Ray is/was a musical genius; those two albums post Morrison and the first solo one are gold.
