Record Store Day colored vinyl reissues

You aren't alone Sonnyboypaco. I sinned too.....twice:yikes:
Don't worry, the neighbourhood watch sticker is still up in the front room window. Move along, nothing to see here. Choosing my own penance, I shall now kneel in the corner and recite "My brother the man" 10 times.

There's a logical fault here. Being "a responsible citizen" and "minding your own business" don't go together these days.

Now more than ever, actually. If I take responsibility for my own actions, I don't file frivolous lawsuits, seek government bailouts or work to tear down and silence others whose opinions are not in sync with mine. Hence,
a more civil and functional society through personal responsibility can ensue on the local level at least.
Try it...it can work if enough people do it.

Hell...you must be a Cruz kinda-guy!!! awesome....Trump can suck it!!!

Naw...I'm disappointed that my candidate, Elizabeth Warren, didn't make it to the primaries.
Now what am I going to do with with the rubber tomahawk and feather headdress that
I bought at Toys'R'Us just for her rallies? WoooWoooWoooWooo! WoooWoooWoooWooo!
When Hil gets indicted you'll get your wish.

Might work if Amazon, Starbucks, Apple, Goldman Sucks and all the rest of the global tax aerobics posse follow your advice. Meanwhile it seems as if NOT minding your own business is the only way the rest can point out that the 1% actually benefitting from neo-lib capitalism have become the new underground. And yes, I know this belongs somewhere else.

Getting back to coloured vinyl. I remember in Australian in the 1970s we had some appalling vinyl pressings; thin and weak. It had something to do with a vinyl shortage caused by the oil crisis, resulting in recycling of black vinyl causing inferior pressings. According to some people at the time, coloured vinyl had to be done from new and so was preferable. Am I remembering this correctly?

I don't care what colour it is, but I'm going to try to bag the Elevators 10" with the French ep mixes.

BUT it's not the complete EP! It's just YGMM and Tried To Hide + the sleeve is totally changed as well (they used the Elevators drum head as cover art showing complete lack of imagination)
If it had been a proper reish of the French Ep it woulda been worth getting but this release looks like s**t...

PS I've never heard the French ep. Is it really different takes, not released anywhere else?

I was fully aware of what was on the release manson66. If all four tracks were on it, that would have been even better. As it is, for me, it's all about what's going down the old earholes. I have plenty of records with so-so covers that sound terrific. Soundwise, it comes blasting out of the speakers. I've only ever held a copy of the French ep a couple of years back at Utrecht. That copy was about 1500 Euros. Only one I've ever seen. I've never actually heard the real thing "in the flesh" as it were, so the chance to get some of the ep was one I couldn't turn up. Not your thing? that's fine. 'Scuze me while I turn it up to eleven. Hit it Stacy:cool:

Hey I'm not slagging down on anyone for getting it - it's not my business at all ;)
I just personally think it's kinda stoopid to release it like this instead of doing a straight repro of the whole EP when they obviously have the means to do it. That would be to show the band some well deserved love. I.M.O. I guess I must add...

Have to say, I completely agree with that. A first rate repro would have been fantastic. With Charlys' history of repackaging and dragging things out, I'm sure the other tracks will show up too. Leaves the door open for more product I suppose.
I'm quite surprised that the ep (as far as I know) has never been booted.
