Anyone has a copy of this LP f/s? The reissue would do for now, I suppose (btw. wasnt there mention of a new edition of this?), though please PM if you have an orig to let got. same goes for their "world aint round" 45, though somehow I feel there're not many siting in spare boxes...

I'd love to have that as well. It should be reissued again. A classic that should be available ANYTIME!

The Duane label owner is quite beyond impossible to deal with. He's still alive and has the tapes. Any project would have to be a bootleg done from a vinyl source, so it isn't worth the time, money, and bother.

I'm not well versed in the value of LPs but an original pressing of "Live And Wild" is at the $500 mark for a strong VG+ copy.
As for the elusive, 3rd Savages 45, you and your offspring will likely be dead by the time another copy surfaces.

Hard to say, but I only know of 4 copies. Of the 4, I had (!) 2 of them. I dealt my collection copy to Mark a long time ago, maybe 10 years now. The other one I acquired soon after was a strong playing, but visual G+ I cannot remember what I ended up doing with it - probably a trade to Doug W. Other than those, there are two out of the loop (internet/blogs/forums, etc.) collectors who do not want to part with their copies at any price.

I'd love to own a copy of this LP.... The Duane owner is being selfish, he could make a nice little buck if he re-released this LP, it is an absolute killer from what I've heard via the internet.

My former collection copy had an interesting history - It was found in the 45s bin at a New Haven, CT used & new record shop (forum member Ned worked there). It had a $5 pricetag on it. When I formed my rock & roll group in '86, the guy who became our lead singer, (I didn't know him before then) showed me the 45, and told me he bought it at the shop maybe 5 years earlier. He said the title "sold" him, as he had not heard the song before.
When he ended up needing money for a car repair or something, I made him an offer, and he sold it to me.

the owner of the "tapes" has them on dats . anyway i have the reissue cd he has. its off of an lp that has a click on the second side of the lp. i'm thinking the tapes are gone
