Shapes Of Things/Petrified Forest

Released simultaneously on Laurie & Fontana.
Is this the same group? I listened to both versions and they are of course the same, but I wonder if there has been a fuck-up somewhere down the line and people have got two different versions mixed up. That happens sometimes. (I believe Hate was one of those times where two different songs got confused..)

Reason I'm asking is I'm rebuilding the 60s Punk E.P. Box. The version on my Ya Gotta Have Moxie labeled Petrified Forest and is the same as the Shapes Of Things version. Sadly, I do not have my original Moxie box here to compare.

They are exact / duplicate versions. Recorded by a studio group assembled by NYC-based producer, Warren Schatz (sp?). The Shapes of things release on Laurie was issued first, a year before the Petrified Forest version. A group from Rhode Island was actually hired to promote the release by the Petrified Forest, even though they were not involved at all in the recording of the tunes.
