Surprise, surprise - idle chatter about TBM

The In-Sex on Hammer were from Philly. Same band as the Down Children on Philips. They had two 45s. I have/had the 45s but I didn't notice that Vince Montana was the arranger. Not his typical sound/production....

Hey, thank you for that piece of information. First ever useful comment I've received regarding this 45.! Fun fact that they "evolved" from the Down Children. Think I've never seen the other 45. Not that this one litters the streets either..

Hahaha! thanks Mr Segment, I owe you. I'd classify it as novelty. You're right: not exactly garage; and not in the same league as Cack Click.

There are a stack of 45s missing from TBM, including far more prototypical and hard-core garage punk than the Bobby Riggs 45 - and that's just based on my sketchy knowledge of US garage. There's also a mountain of dubious inclusions. That's why I'm building my own database. In the meantime, TBM is a very useful filler.

I assume you didn't mean it that way, but referring to TBM as "filler" doesn't do it justice. Instead of creating your own database, share your findings with MTM. He welcomes additions.
