Surprise, surprise - idle chatter about TBM

The BFTG notes are semi-correct, Jim Pearle did play in the Marauders, a Univ. of Chicago campus group. I've got names buried somewhere, no recordings other than perhaps a rehearsal tape - no one knows where it might be.
There was a Marauders in Philly who did two private LPs in 1964 and 1965. One Jim Pearle (bass and piano) is listed as a member on the label and jacket. Could it be the same dude?

No. Jim played lead. Neal rhythm Case played bass. Drummer forgotten.
First contacted Jim in 1996 when I used to random mail flyers I created asking if said person was a member of said combo. Found quite a few folks that way like Kevin Ryan of the Amberjacks, Bruce Clawson of the Dovers...wasn' t cheap to do, mailing out 100s of letters in bundles.

(Note, this a sixteen years old article, if you're wondering about the age of Jim.)
This "heavy metal hero" should actually praise JIM, whom at least for a while, was able to play real rock n roll.
And Jim should've taught the fucken CREAM about real RNR at the time as well.

that would make Jim my new all-time hero!!!

Is it true that The One Way Streets actually AD-LIBBED the lyrics for "Peanut Butter"?
(Makes sense, because it doesn't make sense)
AND what corrections would you make?

People On Earth They're Gonna Die
Boys Just Die But Girls They Dye
You And I Will Take A Trip Now
And Do The Things That Superman Did Now

We'll Take A Feather And Fly It For A Loop
Maybe Do A Swan Dive From A Roof
Some Say It's A Craze And Some Say I'm A Nut
Peanuts Are Nice But The Acid Is Rare
With The Butt On Hand That's Written On The Page

With The Atom Bomb You'll Be Up In A Cage
My Story Is Coming Close To An End
Make Sure It's A Story And Not Your Best Friend

I just got a copy of this elusive Ohio 45. Is it TBM worthy? The flip is not worthy.. LOL The beginning reminds me of True Love, Heartaches by Bobby Runnel's Faux Pas. Interesting that they were both kicking around Akron in the mid 60's.

For some reason the Video is not playing for me in this post, i have to click the watch on Youtube link...

I will add this to the discography.
Please PM full info when you can.

Is 1965 the correct release year for the Dave & The Shadows 7" on Fenton Records? Its low catalog number (942) suggests that it's a 1963 or 1964 release if you compare it with other Fenton release dates on Discogs/45Cat.
Which leads me to another question: When exactly was Fenton Records founded? Some (online) sources say 1963, others say 1964.

Maybe I missed this one, but is this rated for the TBM book or website?
