SWEDEN - The G45 Treatment

here is a quick & nasty pic of four more for which I didn't make scans yet . I hope our old pal Peter aka "swampthing" sees this thread , he would be able to provide the necessary background information . Also I know of a few more that are missing , but they still are on my wantlist ....rest-sw.jpg

Looks like The Pebbles "It's Allright" is not Swedish after all, but from Belgium. Going through my Belgium box, I found the Swedish Streaplers mis-filed there.

Does anyone know where the Shakespeares "Burning My Fingers" are from? Is it Rhodesia, or England? My copy is a Swedish pressing, but I'm sure they are not from there.

I am sure i have that Outsiders 45...I have seen the cover, maybe it's mis-filed or maybe I don't have it after all.

Incredible collection and in seemingly fantastic condition.

A quick note that:

Wizards were from Norway and Shadderhands were from Denmark.

Will scroll through everything again and try think of things that might be worth a mention.

Sounds and looks like a cool project. Found a few sleeves in my collection..
Pebbles are definitely from Belgium and the Shakespears’ “Burning my fingers” were from Rhodesia with UK ties.

Some great sleeves there. It is very funny to see The T-Boones (#93) standing in the shadows in front of a sign that says Garage.

I have read that the Anders Nelson record you show is the only one by him released in Sweden. But I wouldn't know if that's right or not. Certainly he released a lot of records in Hong Kong. I've got a couple, but I wouldn't call them garage. Some better options might be two I don't have. I think the first one has been comped before. They're both on youtube

Thanks for the Shakespeares confirmation Jim. I've listed 2 of your additions, the other 2 were already listed, but they had different coloured pic sleeves, just to make things confusing! Also, Lollipops were from Denmark, but they appeared on the Swedish various artists flexi disc that I listed.

Does anyone think that the Deejays should be classed as Swedish? Or are they better filed under the UK? Currently they are sitting in my UK boxes, but I have learned that they were stationed in Sweden, and recorded all of their 45s there.

For some reason I always thought the Jackie Fountains were Swiss. But it seems they were Swedish according to various articles. Can anyone confirm?
