I find it highly flippant that you remind the author that TBM is not a math book.
Your "If it were my book" remarks.. Well..It ain't your book! Maybe the author should
have consulted you before publication. Maybe next time. In the interim, you can go to
your computer, print out the database you've worked on since 1995, put a cover on it,
and enjoy. Everything will be perfect.

You just argued against your entire point here. It is a rock and roll/garage book and not a math book - so does that extra decimal point really matter? As long as every song was rated using the same mathematical analysis, then I believe the consensus tally is accurate. Not that it reflects everybody's personal rating...but it does accurately reflect the consensus opinion for those who voted...

I already printed it out and it's too big for one book....2,000+ pages.

You missed my point for my opinion on the dropping off of the rest of the rating...the reader does not know if it's a 1.999 or a 1.000 and so on!!

Now he is going to sell another book with the complete ratings, granted in a different way, that I feel could have been put in originally. Maybe, he's the smart one doing it this way to make more money for those who want to know the whole rating.

I'm entitled to my opinions when I feel they are warranted which why I made them. I've read another tread and some are agreeing with me on the rating thing. Actually, I was not going to make any comments, but when others started I felt I had to add mine.

However, with the ratings aside I would recommend the book to someone who had interest in this type of music and I have!!
